CyberOptics SQ3000+ Multi-Function AOI system gains SMT China innovation award for Nordson
Metrology company Nordson has been recognised in annual Test & Inspection awards for the level of innovation in the company’s CyberOptics SQ3000+ Multi-Function Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) system.
Introduced to the market at the beginning of last year, the SQ3000+ uses Multi-Reflection Suppression (MRS) sensor technology, which inhibits reflection-based distortions caused by shiny components and specular surfaces. The system is designed for high-end applications including advanced SMT and other challenging CMM applications.
Perry Duffill, Vice President of Test and Inspection, Nordson says that the superior performance of the advanced SQ3000+ can improve yields and processes.
