Engineers can discover the secrets of motorsports technology on a series of courses

The Motorsport Industry Association’s (MIA) School of Race Engineering is providing courses to develop an understanding of the secrets to motorsport engineering.

The MIA is offering a number of courses that can be taken individually or as a bundle that is spread over several months starting from Autumn in 2022 through until the early part of 2023. Courses include:

Vehicle Dynamics Part 1 (September) – How the technology of aerodynamics, tyres and suspension can impact racing car performance

Vehicle Dynamics Part 2 (October) – An exploration of handling, weight distribution and ride simulation

4-Day in-person School (November) – This module covers 32 hours of teaching and networking with prominent race engineers hosted at the Silverstone Interactive Museum

Race Strategy (December) – An introduction into the secrets behind optimising race strategy and the different strategic challenges of Formula 1, Formula E and Endurance Racing

4-Day in-person School (April 2023) – This module covers 32 hours of teaching and networking with prominent race engineers hosted at Silverstone Interactive Museum
