EcoGo will be attending Innovate 2017 show next month to demonstrate its electric wheel hub motors with axial flux flow.
North Lancashire company, EcoGo has won a place in an exhibition of the most game-changing innovations from businesses across the country at the UK’s leading innovation show in November. EcoGo was one of 100 companies nationwide to be selected to exhibit its innovation to over 2,500 businesses at Innovate 2017 on November 8th and 9th at the NEC, Birmingham.
The company specialises in designing, prototyping and building electric wheel hub motors. Unlike current state-of-the art competitor’s products, the EcoGo motors are based on an innovative axial flux design. This allows the motors to be built in a more compact form and with a higher electrical coil winding fill factor. As a result, the motors are significantly more efficient and economical.
“We are thrilled to be given the opportunity to exhibit at this prestigious event and look forward to launching our high-efficiency motor at the show,” said the product’s inventor, Pablo Engl.
The annual innovation showcase organised by Innovate UK brings the brightest and boldest UK innovators together to inspire businesses, individuals and government to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
Innovate UK Chief Executive, Dr Ruth McKernan said: “Innovate 2017 will be an ideal platform for EcoGo to showcase its game-changing innovation to national and international businesses and investors. I congratulate EcoGo on its success in winning a place, the company is an excellent example of the strength of UK innovation.”
