A series of courses are available this autumn on acoustics and vibration for engineers and scientists.
Sound and vibration specialist, Bruel & Kjaer UK is running a range of practical and theoretical training courses, held at the UK’s head office in Royston, throughout autumn.
The company’s first session, Acoustic & Vibration Introduction for Design & Test Engineers, is a three-day course running from 15th to 17th September. It provides industrial engineers with a thorough understanding of the basic concepts that are important for airborne and structure-borne noise – and vibration in machinery.
Owners of Brüel & Kjær’s PULSE data analysis system can learn about its latest updates and benefit from hands on training at the PULSE User day course, beginning on 22nd September. This intensive, two-day session teaches attendees how to get the best from their data acquisition system.
The final course is Vibration Testing for Engineers, running 13th to 14th October, which offers a practical introduction to the subject of vibration testing. It is designed to meet the needs of engineers new to the subject of vibration testing and acts as a useful refresher course for more experienced users. There is also an optional third day, covering the LDS Laser USB Controller.
