TÜV Rheinland UK is meeting demand for testing and certification services for medical devices and other equipment in the UK with its new Solihull facility.
Technical services for testing, inspection, certification, consultation and training provider, TÜV Rheinland UK, is relocating to a state of the art, electrical and medical device testing facility within England.
Following recent strategic developments for the UK market and as part of an international strategy of TÜV Rheinland Group, TUV Rheinland has invested in a state of the art laboratory and new office, located in Solihull in the West Midlands to better serve the needs of our clients and growth within the industry.
The new 5000 sq/ft UK headquarters will have a dedicated laboratory focused on the testing and compliance of Electrical and Medical Devices, accredited to UKAS 17025 and approved for the CB scheme and NRTL marks for worldwide market access. This will ensure efficient and swift delivery of testing services in the UK for a wide range of electrical products including; Household appliances, Power Supplies, Office and business Equipment, Laboratory Equipment and Medical devices.
The new location will also complement additional business streams that the company operates in, including Global Market Access through international product approvals and certification, medical device auditing, machinery, systems, automotive, retail and industrial services.
TUV Rheinland offers retail programmes for apparel, footwear, hardgoods, electrical, cosmetics and toys with a combination of IT programme management, testing, inspection and auditing of the supply chain.
The company will be issuing a schedule of events and seminars over the coming months to mark the opening of the UK facility.
