Simulation system user conference to take place in April

Main speakers and sponsors have been identified for the VI-Grade user conference taking place in Wiesbaden during April 2016.

VI-grade has announced the official sponsors and the main speakers of the 2016 edition of its International Users Conference.

The event will be organized with the collaboration of 1 platinum sponsor (Saginomiya), 3 golden sponsors (Cosin, MSC Software and SimCo.VR), 8 silver sponsors (3D Mapping, Barco, Bruel & Kjaer, Concurrent, Esteco, FEV, MIRA and Tass International) and 2 bronze sponsors (BE CAE & Test and Danisi Engineering).

The event, dedicated to executive managers and experienced engineers belonging to the main automotive, motorsports, motorcycle and rail companies, universities and research centres from all over the world, will be held on April 12th-13th, 2016 at the Casino Gesellschaft located in the enchanting city of Wiesbaden, Germany.

Confirmed speakers for the conference so far are: Volvo Car Corporation, Porsche Motorsport, TASS International, PSA do Brasil, Multimatic, Fraunhofer ITWM, Cosin, FH Zwickau, Ferrari, PATAC, TU Stuttgart/Audi, Danisi Engineering, MIRA (automotive); WIVW, BMW Motorrad, TU Darmstadt, Brembo (motorcycle); ArgeCare, University of Florence, University of Huddersfield, Tatravagonka, Transnet, The LNMIIT (railway). A detailed programme of the conference will be published shortly.

The conference will also feature a FEV Virtual Engine Users Group dedicated to all Virtual Engine existing and prospecting users, with presentations from selected customers (for example the University of Brno) and interactive sessions with the developers as well as an interesting technical showcase area in which VI-grade and its partners will present their solutions. Moreover, the conference will feature an ice-breaker session (informal get-together) on April 11th, 2016 at 6.30pm with the purpose of networking in a relaxing environment prior to the official conference programme. ​
