Thermo Fisher Scientific has been attending the Gulf Coast Conference in Houston, Texas where the company announced its industrial Nicolet iG50 FTIR spectrometer.
Designed to meet the broadest range of process analytical and environmental gas applications, the Nicolet iG50 FTIR spectrometer is a rugged analyser that allows system integrators and process engineers to deploy FT-IR across industrial sites.
Due to its research-grade spectral performance, the spectrometer is designed to provide reliable measurements in the most demanding applications, including the rapid and simultaneous measurements of multiple gases, liquids or film samples. The Nicolet iG50 spectrometer builds upon the award-winning Thermo Scientific Nicolet iS50 FT-IR laboratory spectrometer.
It is able to process liquid and gas measurements, analyse volatile organic compounds (VOC), perform continuous emission monitoring (CEM) nad at-line film analysis.
It has a modular design which is easily customisable for integration into process monitoring systems and a rugged construction using stainless steel to provide the durability needed for demanding industrial plant environments.
In addition, the spectrometer’s high resolution, sensitivity and speed deliver fast, accurate results and uses common formats and workflows which enable lab support for troubleshooting.
